We arrived at the hospital yesterday, with Kailey in great spirits. She was actually happy to be coming here. As the night went on it got a little difficult, but a tear was not shed. Kailey was stuck in the arm 6 times in an attempt to get an IV in. It was so hard to watch. She was up well past her normal bedtime, and then as usual woken up through out the night. We are all tired this morning.

We spoke to the urologist last night and he told us that it is not unusual for this surgery to last up to 15 hours. Best case senario would be 5 hours. So lets see thats ummm a TEN HOUR swing! HOLY CRAPOLY! Somebody sedate me now!

For those in our area, we are at Egleston, in room 2139.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as tomorrow is sure to be a VERY difficult day.
